Speaking of Karōshi, we’ve been feeling a might frazzled by our workload as of late—not to mention the daily stresses of tending to Microkhan Jr. as he masters his use of the word “no.” So we’re looking forward to a few days in the Massachusetts hinterlands, where a longtime pal’s getting hitched over the holiday weekend. As such, we’re checking out ’til Tuesday; enjoy the epic Bollywood clip above as a special Labor Day treat, and see you back here after a few days of alcohol and night swimming.

Thanks, Microkhan! I’ve been stressed a bit lately (though I’ve no screenplays in work and the spawn are in their 20s) but there’s no way that clip could not cheer one up. Great stuff.

Love this song. “Dil Se” keeps unfortunately getting pushed down my Netflix queue. I still keep it in queue out of a pretension and self-regard straight out of “Stuff White People Like.”
“Bollywood, I love Bollywood. I put Chaiyya Chaiyya on I-Tunes right after I saw ‘Inside Man,’ have sat through ‘Ka Ho Na Ho,’ and think Aishwarya Rai is beautiful.” Ah the pleasures of being an inch deep and a mile wide.

@scottstev: “Dil Se” is highly recommended. I find it tough to sit through a lot of Bollywood flicks, but that one’s a keeper. I particularly appreciated the fact that it was tied into the whole ethnic conflict in the North-East–a region near and dear to my heart, given that I spent time there researching Now the Hell Will Start.
