Once again, thanks for bearing with us this week, as we slog through three distinct deadlines that could well determine our clan’s ability to maintain its current existence. Promise this’ll all be behind us very soon, and we’ll celebrate by reviving our dormant First Contact series.

    @Jordan: Glad you liked this one. I have to admit, didn’t have high hopes for this collab. But the beat and the rapidfire back-and-forth delivery make it the sorta cut that’s tough to get out of your head. Wonder if the whole album (forthcoming this year, allegedly) will live up to the advance single.

    I really like this track, but IMO this stanza is an example of Spinal Tap’s “fine line between clever and stupid”:

    Salute and honor
    Real revolution rhymers
    Riddim piranhas
    Like two Obamas

    Wow! TWO Obamas!
